The Scavenger Hunt Scoop

 

What is it all about?

The scavenger hunt was created to connect people with all the great things Richmond has to offer.  You'll get out of your comfort zone as the hunt will take you from the Museum District, The Fan, Carytown, Shockoe Bottom, and everywhere in between.  Without a doubt, you'll see and do things that you may never have done in all your years living in town.  The Scavenger Hunt also benefits the James River Association, Jr. League of Richmond, Venture Richmond, and the Enrichmond Foundation.

 

How do I sign up?

Simply head over to the Tickets page and follow the directions there. Make sure you have your team assembled before signing up to make sure everyone you want is included under the team name of your choosing. The maximum number of members is 5 people per team.

 

What do I do the day of the event?

Gather your team and head to the Pop Factory starting at 11am the day of the event to pick up your team's packet. The address for the Pop Factory is: 3001 W. Clay St., Richmond, VA 23230.

 

What do I need?

You'll just need your team and comfortable clothes.  Oh, and a phone charger or extra batteries.  Much of the game is conducted on social media outlets for us to keep track of points and award prizes.  Don't fret, it can be done from anyone on your team's smart phone (or other way to connect to social media).

 

Do I need to drive?

Not necessarily.  How you get around the city is totally up to you and however you can do it in the best and safest way possible.

How do I win?

Teams will receive points by completing tasks, like finding different places in town or completing challenges.  You'll take pictures to confirm you've completed a task.  We'll provide a hash-tag the day of the event which will allow us to track and tally points.  Team with the most points wins.  Doy.
